The annual Nollaig na mBan hikes continue 🙂 This year we will be starting from the Village of Carlingford and heading up the hill before heading down into Glenmore. From there we will make our way over and up along the river with its wonderful waterfalls and rockpools until we reach the White Bog. We will then walk along passing the remains of the Booleys remembering the women who spent their summers there tending to the cattle. This hike is about celebrating the importance of all the incredible women who paved the way for us 🙂 While there are some short steep sections on this trail, we will be taking it at a gentle pace so it is doable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. Proper clothing and footwear are required.

Duration: 3-4 hours approx

Difficulty: Reasonable level of fitness required
