So, a bit of information on what I do 
While I can adapt a tour to suit the needs of your group, I have 3 main trails on offer.
Town Tour
The Town Tour covers the Medieval, social and general history of the beautiful village of Carlingford. It is a gentle, fun tour and is rated easy on a fitness level.
- Duration: 1-1.5 hours
- Scheduled tours: €10pp
- Private Tours: 10% off groups over 10
Hillside History Tour
The Hillside History tour consists of a gentle hill walk that will give you a wonderful view of the Medieval Village of Carlingford and covers the general history of the area before returning back to the town for a tour of the beautiful historical buildings. While not very strenuous this tour has some inclines and uneven rocky surfaces so an average level of fitness is required.
- Duration: 2-2.5 hours
- Scheduled tours: €20pp

Mountain Myths and Legends Tour
The third is the Mountain Myths and Legends trail and will bring you up to the Cross on the summit of Barnavave where you will have stunning views of Carlingford Lough and the Cooley Peninsula before heading down through the Deserted Village at the base of Maebh’s Gap. This hike will cover pretty much a bit of everything from Celtic Myths, Vikings, Medieval and even some Railway history. A fair level of fitness is required for this one as there are some steep inclines and rocky surfaces.
- Duration: 2.5-3.5 hours
- Scheduled Tours: €25pp
- Private Tours: 10% off groups over 10
Other options
There is also the option for a longer hike to the top of Slieve Foye to take in the magnificent views.

Family options are also available. This could be a trail suited to the whole family or you can split and send the kids on a Junior trail while the adults take on a more strenuous hike. (Or just send the kids 
)
For all tours you will need to have well fitting walking boots or shoes and be prepared to get them mucky and also “Irish weather appropriate” clothing! 
Tour prices range from €10-€65 pp and although a minimum of 6 is generally required I will endeavour to accommodate smaller groups and individuals. Discounts for OAPs and children.
