Autumn Equinox is one of my favourite times of the year and if early mornings and Sunrises are not your thing then join me to celebrate it by watching the Sun setting below the horizon from the always beautiful Paddy’s Top on the Cooley Mountains. From there we will make our way over to the Cross on Barnavave before dropping down to the Megalithic Tomb at the Deserted Village and home under the night sky.

This hike will be walked at a gentle pace but there are steep sections and uneven mountain terrain so a reasonable level of hill fitness is required as are proper clothing and footwear. No jeans or runners please.
