This hike will take us along winding trails up through Fathom Woods to Flagstaff Viewing Point with its wonderful views out to Carlingford Lough. Along the way we will take a short side quest to see the hidden waterfall 🙂 The walk will be mainly on forest paths and will be a steady incline so it is suitable for beginners with a reasonable level of fitness. We will be taking our time to enjoy our surroundings and focusing on where we are rather than where we are going 🙂

You will require suitable clothing and footwear for the terrain and time of year. Warm light layers are better than one big coat.

Duration: 3 hours approx

Difficulty: Reasonable fitness required but beginner friendly

Please be aware that the walk leaves on schedule so allow yourself time to park and prepare.
