This Sunset Hike has the added bonus of being on the night of the Full Moon which will be the third Supermoon of the year . It is known as the Worm Moon . The time of year when the earth is warmer and the worms come to the surface and the birds get up nice and early to get them!! It’s also known as the Crow Moon so you might prefer to call it that .

The walk will take us to the Cross on Barnavave and home by the Deserted Village with a little stop off at the Witches Circle .

As always with the Sunset hikes, it will be dark on the way home so headtorches are always a bonus .

This is a mountain walk so proper clothing and footwear are required .
