The monthly Sunset & Full Moon hikes continue on March 25th with the not so pretty named Worm Moon 🙂 This Moon’s name comes from the time of year when the soil is becoming warmer and the Earthworms are becoming more active. As always we will make or way up to Paddy’s Top to watch the Sun setting and the Moon rising from this beautiful vantage point. From there we will walk along the hills to the Cross on Barnavave and down through the Deserted Village under the night sky. This is always a lovely hike regardless of whether we get a clear sky 🙂 The trail we will take is doable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness although it is uneven mountain terrain with some steep inclines and declines so proper clothing and footwear are required. No jeans or runners please.
