The monthly Full Moon hikes continue with the Buck Moon in July. We will make our way up to Paddy’s Top at the southern end of the Cooley Mountains along a mix of trails filled with the most wonderful wildflowers 🙂 The views from the top are truly gorgeous. As the Sun sets and the Moon rises over Carlingford Lough, we will walk over the hills to the Cross on the summit of Barnavave. From there we will head down to the Deserted Village under the darkening sky.

Although this hike has some short steep bits on uneven terrain, it will be done at a gentle pace to allow us to take in our surroundings and enjoy the hills 🙂 Proper clothing, footwear and a torch are required.

Duration: 3 hours approx

Difficulty: Reasonable fitness required
