Start your Bank Holiday weekend with a gentle walk on the hill to watch the Sunrise over Carlingford Lough. It is also the last late Sunrise before the clocks go back the following day! We will be leaving just before dawn to make the most of this magical time of the morning. The route is on the lower slopes of Barnavave and will take us over to the always beautiful Deserted Village. It will be a slow paced walk to allow us to enjoy being outdoors but it is uneven mountain terrain and could be a bit chilly so proper clothing and footwear are required. No jeans or runners please. Torches are handy as it will be dark when we set off.
