This is a gorgeous hike to the summit of Sliabh Foy, the highest point in Louth, and along the ridge to Eagles Rock. The views are absolutely beautiful and the terrain changes as we go giving us a great variety of flora and fauna. The route home will be via The White Bog and the remnants of the wonderful Booleys. One of my firm favourites 🙂

This hike is hard so is not suitable for beginners. A good level of fitness is required as are proper clothing and footwear. No jeans or runners!

Meeting point: The Big Tree on the Village Green beside the main carpark in Carlingford.
