Continuing our celebrations for the month of Bealtaine we will have a wonderful hike up to the summit of Barnavave in the Cooley Mountains. Although she isnt the highest peak, with her beautiful views on all sides you get a lovely bigger mountain feel 🙂 From there we will make our way along the hills before dropping down to Coinnle Corra where there will be a full brunch all set up and waiting for us 🙂 Afterwards we will enjoy a gentle stroll along a mix of trails ending up back at our starting point in Carlingford. This hike has steep sections with uneven mountain terrain but will be done at a gentle pace so it is doable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. Proper clothing and footwear are required. No jeans or runners please.

Difficulty: Reasonable hill fitness required

Please be aware that the walk leaves on schedule so allow yourself time to park and prepare.
