This is a walk for our Junior Hikers (5-8yrs) and will give them a chance to have a bit longer to explore the hills than our regular weekly afternoon walks This is for the children only, no adults, and they must be used to being outdoors and doing a fair bit of walking . They will need proper footwear and clothing and a wee backpack with water and lunch and warm light layers rather than one big coat 

This is also for kids to be kids. They will get mucky, wet and possibly fall over so it doesn’t suit everyone and may not be the activity for your child and that’s ok. We are all different 

Places are strictly limited for these walks to ensure we can give the attention that is needed.

Duration: 3.5 hours approx
Difficulty: Not too hard 
Meeting Point: The Big Tree on the Village Green beside the main carpark in Carlingford.
