If you like to mix a history tour with a short, gentle but beautiful hill walk, then this is the one for you 🙂 This tour will take in the medieval buildings and streets of Carlingford while also adding in a wonderful side quest up a local trail to view the town and peninsula from above. We will start and end in the Village. The trail we will be taking is a gradual short ascent and is on uneven ground with some mucky patches if it has been raining, but the views are truly lovely and allow you to visualise the stories you will be told about our area. This is not a strenuous walk but reasonable walking fitness is required as are proper clothing and footwear.

Duration: 2-2.5 Hours approx

Difficulty: Slow paced with parts on uneven terrain. Reasonable fitness required.
