The monthly Full Moon hikes continue but this one will be a Family Friendly hike 🙂 We will be heading up to Paddy’s Top to watch the Sun setting behind the Cooley Mountains before making our way over to the “magic rock” to see the Moon rising over Carlingford Lough 🙂 While this is family friendly, there is uneven mountain terrain and some steep bits so any children attending this walk must be used to being outdoors and able for the hills (this also applies to the adults ! :P) Wear warm light layers rather than one big coat, have footwear with grippy soles, bring torches and snacks 🙂

Duration: 2 -2.5 hours approx

Difficullty: Uneven mountain terrain but slow steady pace.

Meeting Point: The parking area near the Deserted Village on the South Commons Road, Carlingford.
