Let’s finish off the day of the Equinox with a hike up to the beautiful Foxes Rock in the Cooley Mountains to watch the Sun setting. This is a truly wonderful place with incredible views of the rest of the Cooley Mountains, Carlingford Lough and the Mournes with the lights of Omeath below us 🙂 This hike is straight uphill from the start so does require a decent level of fitness and proper clothing and footwear. No jeans or runners. A torch will also be needed as we will be returning under the night sky 🙂

Difficulty: Medium with a strong uphill start.

Duration: 2-2.5 hours approx

Please be aware that the walk leaves on schedule so allow yourself time to park and prepare.
