This is a gorgeous walk up to Ballyoonan Cross on the Northern end of the ridge with gorgeous views over Omeath and Warrenpoint 
The start of the hike is steep but with plenty of beauty to justify “photo stops” . After the initial climb the walk eases and you will be able to enjoy the fabulous scenery on all sides!

Although this is a moderate route, it is rough mountain terrain so proper footwear and clothing are essential!
