Join me for a beginner friendly hike up to the Cross on the beautiful Barnavave. The trail we will be taking will be a gradual ascent up to the ridge and over to the Cross. We will pause there to take in the views before making our way down alongside Maebhs Gap and the Deserted Village to our starting point.

While this hike is aimed at beginners, it does require a reasonable level of fitness and proper clothing and footwear. It will be done at a slow steady pace and throughout the walk there will be tips and tricks to make hillwalking a bit easier 🙂

No jeans or runners!

Duration: 3 hours approx

Difficulty: Moderate but at a gentle pace.
